The image of the Venetic horse is one of the most distinctive images of the Early Iron (Hallstatt) Age.
A few centuries after it was depicted on situlas, Greek and Roman authors wrote that the Veneti people were the best horse breeders. The Veneti depicted horses everywhere – not in a realistic manner, which was the case in Greek and Roman arts, but in a stylised form. Stylised depictions of horses show what nature cannot, namely the horse's spiritual nature.
We have to say that the stylised depiction of a horse on the Vače situla attracted the artist's attention right away, and thus he used it as a model for his own oversize figure of the Venetic horse.

The statue quickly won public attention, and today its duplicates stand at several locations: in front of the Palace of Nations in Geneva, in the Nebug complex in Sochi on the Black Sea coast, in front of the former parliament building in Jerusalem, at the World Trade Centre in Ljubljana and in the Town Square in Slovenj Gradec. The miniature Venetic horse is made from gilded porcelain mass and is also available as a gilded breast pin.

2 ROYAL HORSE – THE LIPIZZAN HORSE SCULPTURE

(30 cm x 37 cm x 13 cm, porcelain, gilt, various glazes)

The Lipizzan horse is a spiritual, ballet horse, also distinguished by the power that this horse possesses.
The Lipizzaner is a native breed of hot-tempered horses, which are the oldest in the world. Our ancestors developed the breed by crossing the native Karst breed with noble Arabic and Spanish stallions.
THE WHITE HORSE is the symbol of symbols, which represents to Slovenians as well as to the European and World cultural heritage a living example of the spirituality and excellent animal power of man.
The Lipizzan horse is associated with the development of man – from animal nature to divine knowledge, from BLACK to divine WHITE.
The Lipizzan horse is born black and turns white as it grows older. Such a transformation represents the transformation of the human, animal nature into the divine knowledge of cosmic human values.
Our ancestors believed the white horse to be God Himself...
They taught it to stand on two legs and use its raised third leg for balance. This pose is supposed to represent the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, the HOLY TRINITY or TRIGLAV (three heads). The LIPIZZAN HORSE is thus considered a spiritual horse and also a working horse.
In the past, many ancient parishes in the area of the settlement of Slovenian people in Central Europe were dedicated to St. George on a WHITE HORSE (a symbol of early Christianity). St. George on a white horse kills the dragon, which implies that man must conquer his EGO during his lifetime. He must become God in the divine creation of the unified cosmic consciousness.
Archduke Charles, ruler of Inner Austria (Carantania), established a stud farm at Lipica in the Karst area in 1580. One of the most precious horses he brought there was the Andalusian stallion named Pluta.
The basic breed of horses was the domestic ancient white horse, which was persistent, strong and had a high gait. This breed was then crossed with the Spanish and Arabic, particularly the Iberian, but also with the Neapolitan and Polesine.
The stud farm reached the peak of its development under the rule of the Emperor Charles VI and the daughter of the Empress Maria Theresa. The famous Spanish Riding School was established in Vienna in 1752 when the Lipizzan horse first appeared. The Lipizzaner became a noble and military horse.
The Lipizzaner is impossible to describe – when it appears, it enchants with its beauty, intelligence, its freedom and is like a divine horse. That is exactly what our ancestors tried to communicate to their descendants. This horse carries a deeper meaning that can help man to develop and acquire knowledge of himself, to discover the goodness and beauty in his spirituality for he is the UNIVERSE.
The home of the Lipizzan is the village of LIPICA. Its name is derived from the ancient symbol of the Slovenian people – the linden tree (lipa), which also represents everything BEAUTIFUL or WHITE.

NOEMI THE SWINGING SWAN STATUETTE

3 NOEMI THE SWINGING SWAN STATUETTE

(110 cm x 13 cm, ceramics, various glazes)

The energy of a swan envelops us with beauty, grace, poetry and harmony.
A statuette in the image of a new-born swan is a symbol of innocence, immaculateness, a symbol of the white Bird of Paradise … As it combines the elements of water and air, many cultures consider it the bird of life.
Just like the Slovenian Lipizzaner horse, the swan is born black or grey and later turns brilliant white. Thus, the swan is also a symbol of transformation.
The birth of a human being is like the symbol of a pearl, which lies in the pear shell at the bottom of the sea. The pearl represents God, whom we are searching for. That is why our life is a game of truth. When we find God in ourselves, we find the pearl – the “white Bird of Paradise.”

COSMIC EGG SCULPTURE

4 COSMIC EGG SCULPTURE

(ø = 33cm, h = 11cm)

It is a symbol of eternity, creation and deity. It is the most perfect shape on Earth and at the same time a preshape of AUM, a VIBRATION, and the primordial energy: Nature, Energy and Devin Design.
It is HIM, all shapes flow into HIM and creation processes are rising from HIM, and he is IMMORTAL. To prove that SAI BABA rose this divine shape from his body and proven the secret of the creation.
The author and his wife Tatjana were present at such creation, called LINGODBHAWA, a miracle of miracles, on 15 February 1999 at 6.21 a.m. in Puttapartha, India.
“I am in the Father and the Father is in me. I am in You and You are in me,” said Jesus Christ. The old Slovenians had a saying: “V Rajski ptici je jajce in v jajcu je Rajska ptica, ki je BOŽANSKO BITJE, in to je JAZ!” (“The Paradise bird is in the egg, and the egg is in the Paradise bird that is a DIVINE CREATURE and that is ME.”)

PIA PARADISE BIRD SCULPTURE

5 PIA PARADISE BIRD SCULPTURE

(33.5cm x 33cm x 8cm, porcelain, gilt, various glaze)

PIA paradise bird in flying state is a symbol of paradise, beauty, immortality and in Christianity, TRANSFORMATION - TRANSFORMATION from BLACK to WHITE, from DARK to LIGHT.
The bird is connected to the human principle and its prehistory. It was the link between the earth and the sky in the human desire to fly with their body and mind to human immortality.
Once, people saw a bird, a duck or a swan as a divine creature because it masters the water, the earth and the air. Thus, every bird represents a Paradise bird, the symbol of divine creation with clear content. In its body it carries a golden egg from which rises spiritual and physical body. Birds that Oskar Kogoj designed have similar message, which our civilization again carefully investigates.
A peacock in flight occurs in the basis of the mosaic in the Aquileia culture (313 BC), where we can also find symbols, describing transformation of energy, information and finally self-realization of PEACOCK as a paradise human. A peacock is one the most beautiful birds on our planet, it has always inspired people. A peacock is a holy bird, a symbol of purity, eternity and it represents a cosmic symbol - the universe. The colour of its chest symbolises longing for divinity, and the shining feather of its tail represents the wealth of the spirit that rises upon discovering divine secrets.
Already the Greek school of self-discovery in the secret sanctuary ELEVSIS, near Athens discussed reincarnation of human to the fusion with oneself, with the number 1, with the IMMORTALITY OF THE GOD'S PARADISE. A PEACOCK is the bird of the PARADISE, it is an ILLUMINATED SUN. In Esoterics, a peacock is a symbol of entirety, eternal blissfulness of SOUL and seeing God face to face in all religions. An opened and closed tail represents a cosmic passage of spirit; it is leading the rider to the final truth. The truth or self-realization is to conquer ignorance based on finding the truth. The truth is the CREATION OF oneself, it is the God's creation of ETERNITY, and it is redemption in eternity or resurrection from the body, passage in the leadership of the paradise bird, a PEACOCK.
It is dedicated to his granddaughter PIA and to all the children born on 23 November 2011.

6 SWAN SCULPTURE – THE BIRD OF LIFE

(21 cm x 36 cm x 11,5 cm, porcelain, gilt, various glazes)

The energy of a swan envelops us with beauty, grace, poetry and harmony. The swan is known for its beautiful, gracefully arched neck and the pristine whiteness of its feathers. It is associated with the purifying power of water and emotions, and it symbolises innocence, sincerity, honesty, purity, faultlessness and spiritual beauty. As it combines the elements of water and air, many cultures consider it the bird of life.
The swan chooses a partner for life, and therefore it is seen as a symbol of fidelity and eternal love.
Its beautiful and dignified posture has earned it the reputation of being a royal bird. Due to its courage, strength and fearlessness, the swan is also a symbol of physical power.
Just like the Slovenian Lipizzaner horse, the swan is born black or grey and later turns brilliant white. Thus, the swan is also a symbol of transformation.
Swans are loyal companions of the Slovenian town of Bled. Its name was probably derived from the Slovenian word for WHITENESS (»bled« in Slovenian meaning »pale«), designating the white glow that reflects off the surface of the magical lake. The lake and its island form a circle and a spot – which is the oldest symbol for highlighting the God residing in human beings.

7 THE DOVE OF PEACE SCULPTURE - GARUDA

(32 cm x 30 cm x 15 cm, porcelain, gilt, various glazes)

The symbolism originates from the Vedic word »garuda«, which means bird of paradise, dove, eagle, God’s cockerel… This is a creature from the mountain, because it is above the firmament, outside the material world, where BHAGA-GOD-VAN dwells. This is the DOVE OF PEACE from the Old and New Testaments.
The white dove has always represented the transformation of man’s actions into good, beautiful, pure. The colour white represents innocence in all its meanings and is a part of our spiritual heritage. Peace is love, love is peace. The GARUDA dove is dedicated to B. S. S. Sai Baba, who was born with a dove-shaped birthmark, a sign of love, peace and divinity.

10 SKULPTURA RAJSKA VENETSKA PTICA

The Bird of Paradise is dedicated to our dear friend Daniella Gado Vedaldi, the director of the Caffe Florian in St. Mark’s Square in Venice. The drawing that inspired the sculpture comes from the Venetic culture – a civilisation from Este, which existed around 800 B.C.
The sculpture represents the Bird of Paradise, a symbol of the divine creation with a clear message. It carries a golden egg in its body, from which spiritual and physical bodies come into being. The artist and his wife witnessed the mysterious lingodbhava on the 15th of February 1999 at 6:21 India Time in Puttaparthi when Sai Baba gave birth to a golden egg through his mouth.
This bird and all other birds designed by the author convey a similar message – a message that is being carefully reinterpreted by our civilisation. The original depiction of the Venetic bird appears on an ancient belt buckle, which is kept at the Atestino National Museum in Padua.

12 THE GOLDEN SUN WALL SCULPTURE – the symbol of light on the path of life

(ø = 27 cm, porcelain, gilt, various glazes)

12
THE GOLDEN SUN WALL SCULPTURE

The golden sun is a symbol of light, the golden cosmic egg and the golden lingam.
All great civilisations throughout history used this symbol as the real astral religion of creativity and creation, as the embodiment of the source of life and light. The symbol is also associated with the warmth of a heavenly body.
The sun provides us with warmth, life and creative energy, and therefore it is the symbol of warmth, freedom and life. However, we all know that we must not look at the sun. Therefore, it also represents the God who can only be felt and discovered, rather than seen. It is the centre of the universe, the cosmic reason. The sun has always been considered the origin of energy and vitality. Its influence upon people’s lives has always been connected with happiness, health and the joy of life. The sun’s essence brings quality of life, energy and healing powers.
The sun is the ruler of the astrological sign of Leo, and thus it is also a symbol of power, energy and everything associated with life.
The symbolism of the sun is also connected with the spiritual development and maturation of man, who becomes enlightened by the golden light of the sun, representing the harmony of life between heaven and earth. In our time, the sun represents the beginning of man’s golden era, when all people will realise that their nature is the sun, the heavenly golden creature.

14 “TULA” THE BIRD STATUETTE

(40 cm x 14 cm x 5 cm, ceramics, various glazes)

Dedicated to our dear friend TAPIO WIRKKALA (1915–1985) and his family (Rut, Marija and Sam).
Tapio Wirkkala is an icon of Finnish design. As a modern designer, my friend Tapio realised that the depth of the MESSAGE OF NATURE is as transcendent as what was revealed by LEONARDO DA VINCI in his work “MONA LISA SMILE” – LA GIOCONDA.
In his work “ULTHIMA THULE” (1967), Wirkkala, with great intuition, discovered MAN’S JOURNEY to DIVINE CREATION, “the journey of the river to the sea – man’s journey home.”
Our life is a voyage. It is the COLISEUM of innumerable incarnations, the oscillation or vibration of the SCALES between left and right, between good and evil, between love and hate, between plus and minus, between white and black…
“TULA” THE BIRD plastic art communicates the highest things, communicates love and, at the same time, warns of the civilisation of Hyperboreans that is under the North Sea today. It also communicates of the civilisation of our ancestors, who mastered the secret of the God-man relationship, the relationship between heaven and earth.
With the help of various realisations, a consciousness of truth reveals itself to man – the consciousness of cosmic love, goodness, sea, river – ULTHIMA THULE.

16 THE NOBLE CAT ELA STATUETTE – a good luck charm that brings well-being

(17,5 cm x 23 cm x 8 cm, porcelain, gilt, various glazes)

Cats symbolise resilience, healthy curiosity, independence, cunningness and unpredictability.
The cat is considered one of the most mysterious and mystical animals. Its »eighth sense« detects radiation, the Earth’s magnetic fields, air pressure and weather changes. It responds to the sun and the moon. In China, the cat symbolises happiness, well-being and wealth. The Japanese worship Maneki-Neko involves a cat with a raised paw that brings happiness and money. In ancient Egypt, the cat was even worshipped as a deity.
Kogoj’s Ela cat is modelled on the Russian Blue cat breed. Its tail is reminiscent of King RAMA’s staff. Its form follows the principle of the energy circle, the origin of everything. Everything comes from nothing and nothing is everything: 0=0.
The name ELA stands for nobleness. The little star Ela has just been born into our family therefore we dedicate this holy animal to all EVAs and ELAs out there!

17 OWL STATUETTE

(19 cm x 11 cm x 8 cm, ceramics, gilt,
various glazes)

The owl is the symbol of wisdom.
The owl is also a symbol of books and knowledge and a symbol of night. It connects the energy and power of the subconscious mind and human spiritual energy as well as the energy of the moon, water and plants, which are present in every human being as a latent source of immortality and a spark of divine fire.
The owl is associated with the creation of the animal kingdom. It announces the presence of something spiritual, something hidden and something that is connected with mystery and knowledge.
I wish that this symbol, would become a symbol of the development of knowledge and the human spirit.

THE ELEPHANT - SAI GITA STATUETTE

(14 cm x 23 cm x 8 cm, porcelain, gilt, various glazes)

The elephant is a symbol of power, progress and virtue. In the Eastern world, the home of the elephant, it is a symbol of eternity, kingdom and knowledge.
GA-JA elephant is the elephant of the beginning (the alpha) and the end (the omega). Today, the elephant is a symbol associated with the structure of the cosmos, and thus it is the perfect symbol of the modern cosmic period when humankind is becoming reacquainted with itself. The elephant’s trunk is shaped in the form of an egg. The egg is the most perfect form on Earth, because it brings new life.
Sai Gita is SAI BABA’s elephant. The artist and his wife witnessed the mysterious lingodbhava on the 15th of February 1999 at 6:21 India Time in Puttaparthi when Sai Baba gave birth to a golden egg through his mouth.
The sculpture is dedicated to SAI GITA, the 20th century Avatar B. S. S. SAI BABA and to everyone who wishes to be as strong as an elephant.
